Lamar Odom Cuts His Dad Off And Stops Paying His Rent After Anti- Kardashian Comments

As bad as everyone claims Lamar Odom is  doing these days, it seems his father, Joe, will be worse off in a minute if he doesn’t make things right with his son.

We told you last week how Joe went on a tirade against the Kardashian family, claiming that they really care nothing about his son, whose life is currently all over the place. He even went as far as to say that they’re to blame for his current state and that Kris Jenner is an “evil b***h” and Kim Kardashian is a “p**n star.” Of course, Lamar lashed out in response to his father’s statements, even reminding pops in front of the world that he “wasn’t there 2 raise me.”

“He is my downfall! His own demons may be the ONLY thing he gave 2 me. He disrespecting the ONLY FAMILY that has loved me without expecting anything in return.”

Joe Odom went on to apologize, probably because he initially assumed Lamar wouldn’t respond, and as it seems, because Lamar is that man’s meal ticket.

Joe reached out to TMZ and and told them that Lamar has stopped paying his rent, which he had been taking care of for four years now. Joe claims that after he spoke to Radar Online about the Kardashian family, his son called him and went off over his comments and told him that he’s on his now and needs to pay his own bills. Those bills include the $2,900 per month rent that Joe is unable to pay. He says that he can’t afford it and if he can’t find the money, he’ll be kicked out of his apartment by the end of next month (people kick folks out that quickly??).

You would think that Joe would learn after speaking publicly to the media in the first place that doing that only makes things worse. His issues with his son need to be handled privately, and I doubt Lamar is about to pull out his check book now that he’s confiding in TMZ.

On a side note, the four-year anniversary of Khloe Kardashian and Lamar’s marriage was on Friday, but it looks like they spent that day apart. After being seen hitting the gym, Kardashian posted a photo on Instagram of a gift she received from her friends, twins Malika and Khadija, on her anniversary–but nothing from her estranged husband. Oh Lamar…

Chris Brown Announces "X" Release Date

Chris Brown announced that X, his sixth solo album, may be his last, a couple months ago.

Tonight, we find out when the record is officially dropping: November 19th. He has songs with Kendrick Lamar, Rihanna, and Kelly Rowland, among others. He explains the title of the album mathematically. He says that he started singing professionally when he was 14, and now it has been ten years since then (he's 24 now). The importance of the number ten to him continues in that his birthday (May 5th) adds up to ten if you take the month and the day. Yes, this is directly from his explanation.

In any case, if you have the same number of fingers as a standard human being, or if you follow the base ten numeral system like everyone else, the album's inspiration may have the same significance to you. If Chris is indeed retiring after this release, perhaps he will come back when another nice, round number presents itself.

Gucci Sentenced 6 Months In Jail?!

Gucci'e Mane's ongoing legal strife has hit another low point, but it may be just what he needs to get back on track.

The troubled rapper was sentenced Friday (Sept. 27) to six months in jail for probation violation Friday stemming from a bust on drugs and guns earlier in the month.

Gucci was arrested on disorderly conduct and possession of a concealed weapon charges in Atlanta two weeks ago after he threatened and cursed at police.

Things have long been personally and professionally rocky for La Flare and has spiraled out of control this year. Aside from assaulting fans and waging war on former friend Waka Flocka Flame, he was dropped by both his manager and Atlantic Records and he unleashed an erratic Twitter rant denouncing just about all of his publicly known industry contacts before deleting the page.

He returned to Twitter sometime last week and pinned the various outbursts on a decade-long addiction to codeine. "Woke up the other day out this hospital bed & I'm so embarrassed & ashamed of my behavior that was brought to my attention," he wrote. "I just wanna man up right now & take this time to apologize to my family, friends, the industry & most of all my fans. I'm SORRY!"

Gucci was still locked up at the time of the Twitter apology, and claimed to be getting out to enter rehab.

He has yet to comment on this latest development.

ROCKO SAYS HE CONFRONTED GUCCI MANE DURING TWITTER RANT

Some people who were name checked during Gucci Mane's EPIC TWITTER RANT weren't surprised by the rapper's actions. But, for others, the cold words came from way out in left field. Fellow Atlanta rapper Rocko is one of the latter. During Guwop's rant, the "U.O.E.N.O." rapper was so confused by Gucci's taunts he tweeted that he was outside of Gucci's studio waiting for a fight or an explanation, one. Rock recently chopped it up with Atlanta's Streetz 94.5 and revealed that he did confront Gucci. "I pulled up. That's what real men do," he said. "Real men address their issues head first. It aint no situation where Ima run from nothing."

Rock said since he and Gucci were cool, the slander being tossed his way confused him to the point that he had to see what was what for himself. "[Gucci] was my ace. When all that took place I was in aw," he said. "I was like, nah that aint my homie. So I pulled up. We had a conversation." Rocko didn't give the details of their talk, but said he now holds no grudge against Gucci. "Homie going through some things. I just ask everybody to pray for homie," he added. Chris Brown Gives Advice To Kanye West?!

After his headline-making feud with Jimmy Kimmel, Kanye West escaped the madness and headed to Paris for Fashion Week on Saturday. Mr. West avoided LAX, the site of many of his paparazzi run-ins, and traveled to Paris via San Francisco on a commercial flight.

Kim Kardashian left their daughter North back home with her family and joined him on the trip. The fashionable couple was greeted by photographers as they made their way through Paris. At one point, Kanye was seen smiling as he spoke with some of the locals.

Kanye wants to press charges against the photographer(s) who he believes trespassed on his property at 4 a.m. on Friday. According to TMZ, he has reviewed the security footage and will file a police report asking that the culprit(s) be prosecuted for criminal trespass.

Chris Brown also offered ‘Ye some advice on how to deal with the pesky paps. “Hire some security or some street ni**as to take care of the bullshit so u not explaining Yaself,” he tweeted. “I hate how the media makes us look like aggressive animals. The son of media mogul Damon Dash is extra caught up right now. And it's over him "allegedly" choking out his girlfriend. And just when we thought he was growing into an upstanding handsome young man...

22-year-old Boogie Dash was at his apartment on Sept. 22nd in Chelsea in NYC when his girlfriend reportedly came to visit. Things got crazy after the couple had two fights--supposedly over sex--that led to injuries. And Boogie reportedly got extra physical, choking her out and punching her.

The NY Post reports:

“They had an apparent dispute over sex,” a law enforcement source told The Post of Dash-the-younger and his girlfriend.

“She was visiting him at his apartment, he got violent with her, starts to punch her, slap her and shove her onto the bed, got on top of her, he grabs her by the throat and chokes her,” the source said.

They briefly reconciled but then had another fight, at which point the victim called the cops, the source said.

Dash climbed on top of her and “placed both of [his] hands around [her] neck and squeezed tightly,” to the point where she had trouble breathing, according to the misdemeanor complaint against him.

The arraignment went down on Wednesday where he had to sign a restraining order to stay away from the unnamed victim. Boogie had a previous run in with authorities, but those records have been sealed.

It's amazing how this whole situation remained a secret...until now. He was charged with misdemeanor assault and strangulation.

While the victim has not been named, we noticed a certain girl that Boogie talks a lot about and posts plenty of pics with. We cannot and do not confirm it's her, but we do know he seems smitten and calls her "the beautiful Courtney...".

No Way! Lamar Odom Was Caught In A Hotel Room Doing Drugs With Two Random Chicks!

The Kardashian publicity machine continues to crank out weird Lamar Odom stories. The newest story from TMZ claims the former NBA star is “holed up” in a hotel on a “crack binge” with 2 women. Oh, and Lamar’s wife Khloe Kardashian supposedly kicked him out of the house again.

Odom, 33, is currently holed up in a gated community 100 miles outside of Los Angeles, whiling away his days smoking crack and partying with two women in their early 20s, one of whom he is reportedly intimate with, multiple sources told TMZ.

Those same sources noted that the troubled basketball player has become increasingly more paranoid, rarely leaving the home and demanding that his driver only pick up small amounts of crack at a time to avoid scrutiny, something which has only resulted in more frequent trips for the drug.

Polina Polonsky, who Odom lived with temporarily in Los Angeles’ Roosevelt Hotel after moving out of the house he shares with wife Khloe Kardashian, detailed his irrational fear in an interview with the gossip site earlier this month.

“He was a little paranoid,” the criminal defense attorney said. “I found, like, little paper towels, wads, in every pretty much hole or crevice in my apartment after he had left.”

Well here’s some positive news amongst all the Twitter beefs that have ensued this week. Keyshia Cole has squashed the beef with her sister Neffe!

It all went down in Atlanta yesterday at Lenox Mall where Keyshia hosted an in-store event for her new shoe line with Steve Madden. Neffe showed up and bought a pair of the new shoes to show support and the two were able to squash their beef.

The consensus among many who have known and worked with Lamar Odom is that he is a great guy. But some of those people are also not particularly surprised by reports of his recent struggles.

"I'm not totally shocked," a source tells E! News, referring to stories about Lamar's legal and personal issues, including rerpots of marital trouble between him and wife Khloé Kardashian Odom. "He needs people around him to love him. He has had a lot of baggage around him for a long time."

Lamar referenced as much when he broke his public silence in a TwitLonger posting on Tuesday, writing that "demons may be the ONLY thing" he inherited from his estranged father, Joe. "Lamar needs to learn how to say the word no," the source continued. "He is the nicest guy you'll ever meet. He would do anything for anybody."

But that doesn't always bode well for the doer.

When Lamar got together with Khloé, the source said, "she got rid of a lot of hangers-on that were negative influences."

"We are concerned for him and praying for him," the insider added. "He needs help. He has to have someone with fortitude. He is very sensitive and his image is very important to him, [as is] being liked, and it makes it hard to say no. He cares about what people think of him."

"What surprises me is that he made it [in life], so why [the problems] now?" the source said. Meanwhile, we've been told that Khloé and Lamar have been in contact as he's been dealing with his issues and the fallout from his Aug. 30 arrest for alleged DUI. His arraignment is scheduled for tomorrow, though he's not required to accompany his lawyer to court because the charge is a misdemeanor. The source also told E! that a friend of Lamar's from New York flew out to L.A. last week to attempt to stage an intervention, but Lamar didn't show up to meet him.

However, Khloé and her family saw Lamar's tweet as a "promising" sign that he's "finally on the right track."

He looked "great and healthy" just last night, an eyewitness told us after seeing Lamar outside the L.A. apartment building where he's been staying in recent weeks.

He and Khloé, who has continued to wear her sizable wedding ring while out and about this month, will mark four years of marriage today.

During a satellite interview with WGN, Selena Gomez halted the interview just after the reporter asked about her ex-boyfriend, Justin Bieber.

Speculation of a reunion went into high gear in early July after Bieber posted a pic of himself and Gomez on Instagram celebrating Independence Day together with a simple message reading, "#heartbreaker." But something tells us that Gomez's personal life is going to take a backseat to her professional endeavors in the coming months.

Apparently Rihanna was smoking kush and then decided to smoke some that had been laced either with PCP or some other type of drug. She kept smoking it as if it was just a regular joint and had smoked two of them before the effects hit and they hit hard. While smoking she was also drinking and the doctor said that if she had passed out away from friends and the party that she probably would have died.

Reebok Asked To Terminate Teyana Taylor Endorsement Following Domestic Violence Remark.

She may have been the innocent party in their ‘Twitter beef’ last night, but an image posted by dancer Teyana Taylor during her run in with Pop singer Rihanna may have cost her an endorsement she currently holds with Uli Becker‘s ‘Adidas-Reebok’.

In retaliation to an image posted by Rihanna during their spat here, Teyana posted a photo shopped image of her face superimposed on that of a boxer’s, punching an image of Rihanna’s face snapped shortly after she had been assaulted by Pop star Chris Brown back in 2009.

It’s this image, that has seen web users take to Change.Org to sign a petition launched to see Adidas-Reebok cut all ties with the ‘Google Me’ maestra, citing her decision to mock/trivialise domestic abuse as grounds for their concern.

Now available to read and sign here, the petition has now garnered over 1,000 votes across the globe- with some of its endorsers telephoning Canton, Massachusetts head quarters to ensure their voices on the controversial matter are heard.

Kanye West: Kim Kardashian "Gave Me Everything"

Kanye West isn't afraid to publically profess his love for girlfriend Kim Kardashian.

During his hour-long sit-down interview with BBC Radio 1 personality Zane Lowe, in which 'Ye called himself "the No. 1 rock star on the planet," the new father also opened up about his relationship with E! star, and he couldn't help but gush over the 32-year-old beauty, with whom he welcomed his first child, daughter North West, in June.

"It's like family time. That's what Kim gave me," the rapper gushed. "She gave me everything, she gave me family, she gave me a support system."

Aww. What's more? West says Kim didn't have any monetary motives when it came to coupling up with the super star.

"She was in a powerful enough situation where she could love me without asking me for money, which is really hard for me to find," the 36-year-old performer admitted.

Kanye also aired his grievances over the pesky paps, insisting he's going to change the paparazzi laws for the benefit of his 3-month-old daughter Nori. West is currently being sued by a paparazzo following an alleged airport attack, and on Monday, he filed a response, claiming he acted in self-defense. "I'm going to tell my daughter, by the time she understands what it was, 'Man, me and your mother were in a completely different situation than you're in,'" he explained. "People could take pictures, people could climb over your fence, and you wouldn't even get paid for it. You see all these checks that you getting at age 6 because people are taking your picture?...I made that happen, Nori. That's what I'm going to tell her."

This isn't the first time the proud parent has opened up about his desire to shelter his daughter from the shutterbugs. During little Nori's big debut on the season finale of Kris Jenner's show, West opened up about the difficulties he's faced as a parent given the constant presence of the pesky paparazzi.

"For me as a dad, I'm supposed to be this musical genius and everything, but I can't work the car seat very well," the rapper admitted. "So I think, OK, what if I'm not working the car seat and lets add on top of that 20 grown men screaming at me in front of my child…and then taking photos and then putting it on 20 media outlets. And 20 million Americans screaming at me saying, 'You don't know, you're supposed to be a genius working a car seat, and I'm in a cold sweat…but if you think you got enough things to deal with as a new parent and you add that layer on top of it, it becomes really intense." Despite the pressure, West won't let the shutterbugs stop him from spending quality time with his family, as both Kim and Nori will join the rapper on tour while he promotes his album Yeezus.

"Kim is definitely coming to at least several of Kanye's tour dates," an insider exclusively told E! News earlier this month. "And she's going to bring Nori. She's really looking forward to it."

Too cute. No doubt, Kanye is equally as excited to have "family time" with his two favorite gals on tour.

Jada Pinkett Smith Talks 'Addictions' Struggle In Reflective Facebook Post

Jada Pinkett Smith discussed her past struggle with "addictions" in a reflective Facebook post recently.

The "Hawthorne" actress has been using her Facebook as an advice column-journal hybrid for some time now, USA Today notes. On Sept. 19, a day after her birthday, Pinkett Smith took pause to think about the last 42 years of her life.

"What I learned about myself is this, when I was younger I was not a good problem solver, meaning I had a very difficult time with dealing with my problems in life," she wrote. "I had many addictions, of several kinds,to deal with my life issues, but today, at 42, I have my wisdom, my heart and my conscience as the only tools to overcome life's inevitable obstacles. I have become a good problem solver with those tools, and I am damn proud."

While she did not elaborate on what exactly those "addictions" were,Pinkett Smith did note that she hopes to continue along a path of "healthy understanding."

"What I hope is that we all continue to gain healthy understanding that life is really about ... solving problems, and also about us learning to become masters at solving them," she concluded.

Last year, Pinkett Smith's mother, Adrienne Banfield-Jones, discussed her own struggle with addiction during a conversation for Pinkett Smith's "Red Table Talks." She revealed she was addicted to drugs until her daughter was in her late teens.

"It was a very difficult time for us," Banfield said at the table, addressing her granddaughter, Willow. "You know, Jada did not have the kind of life that you have now. I was not a good mother, in my eyes. I know that your mom believes that all experiences, good and bad, help make you the person that you are today. But I just feel like during those times, the bad times outweighed the good."

After Pinkett Smith turned 40 back in 2011, she said it was a "surreal" experience to reach that age because she had grown up in a "drug-infested ... war zone," and she didn't think she would make it to 21.

Tupac's Mother Afeni Shakur Sues Entertainment One for $1.1 Million in Unpaid Royalties

Tupac's mother Afeni Shakur is suing Entertainment One for owing $1.1 million in unpaid royalties.

According to TMZ, Afeni filed a lawsuit against E1 Music – formally known as Koch – for breach of contract. The company purchased the rights to the late-rapper's music, and later released a Tupac album in June of 2007 called Beginnings: The Lost Tapes 1988–1991. However, Afeni claims they have yet to pay off the royalties to Tupac's estate, which is where the $1.1 million comes into play.

Afeni Shakur is also seeking to obtain the master recordings of all Tupac's unreleased music from Entertainment One.

Justin Bieber has finally had it ... TMZ has learned Lil Twist and Lil Za are both persona non grata at his Calabasas mansion after expensive jewelry went missing.

Sources connected to the Biebs tell TMZ ... Justin was furious earlier this month when he discovered the jewelry and other items were nowhere to be found. Twist and Za had both been staying at the house and they had thrown several parties in Justin's absence.

We're told Justin had no idea who stole the items, but blamed Twist and Za because it was on their watch. He ordered them out and our sources say both of them are PISSED.

We're told Justin has finally seen the light that he's gotta change ... or else. Justin just performed in Singapore (above) and actually showed up 15 minutes early, but not before he gave 30 tickets to kids from a local orphanage.

Our sources say Justin is privately saying he knows he's been on a bad path, and it seems at least for now he's moving in the right direction.

BEEF BURIED: Drake & Chris Brown Hug It Out? Can This Be True?!

Fresh off releasing Nothing Was The Same to rave reviews and sitting down for quite a hilarious interview with Chelsea Handler, there’s more positive news surrounding rapper Drake this week – he and Chris Brown have reportedly squashed the beef!

This weekend was an emotional one for many celebrities as they stepped out for iHeartRadio Music Festival – Miley Cyrus cried during a performance, Khloe rid herself of her marital issues, and according to the NY Post’s Page Six, Breezy and Drizzy hugged out their differences over drinks and talks of a collaboration.

Here’s how the publication is reporting it:

Sources tell us Drake and his crew came to the music fest on Friday specifically to watch Brown’s performance. ‘Drake came on Friday with his whole crew, and watched Chris’ entire set,’ we’re told. After Brown came off stage, a spy told us: ‘They were backstage hugging and drinking.’ We’re told the reunion went so well, the two even talked about creating some tracks together. Sources tell us the mediator of the reunion was Def Jam music exec Abou Thiam — who’s one of Brown’s managers and a brother of rapper Akon. We’re told Thiam is ‘very friendly with Drake, and worked to try and get him and Chris together to put their differences aside.’”

Not to be too dramatic, but this is beautiful! Chris and Drake are too talented to be in the news for violence. If you don’t remember the details of their infamous W.I.P nightclub brawl, get that info here.

We wonder if the fact that both musicians have moved on from Rihanna had anything to do with that reunion? Stay tuned.

According to the latest reports, Miley and her new man, producer Mike Will Made It were all over each other during the iHeart Music Festival this weekend in Las Vegas, and it looks like he’s super tight with the entire family

Miley’s sister Brandi posted pictures of the new couple sitting rather close in a luxury limo, the picture is a little blurry but Brandi explains why, saying:

I know it’s blurry, but my Mom took this and she’s not the greatest with the iPhone. I had to show you our Party Bus though, hahaha! We got picked up from the airport in this and have taken it everywhere. It’s hilarious!!!

Amidst recording their forthcoming collab “Black Skinhead (Remix),” Yeezus and the tween disciple have built a mentor-style relationship. “Kanye is the shit. I kind of have a good relationship with him now. It’s good to have someone you can call and be like, ‘Yo, do you think I should wear this?’ ‘Do you think I should go in the studio with this guy?’ ‘Do you think this is cool?’ That’s what homies are supposed to do.”

Joe Odom piped up about his son's drug problems and the family he married into, and now Lamar Odom is FURIOUS!

After catching wind of his dad's interview from earlier today —an interview in which Khloe Kardashian was labeled mean and controlling —the troubled ballplayer finally put his dad on full blast!

Joe called the Kardashians a family of porn stars and said, point blank, that his son would "be better off without him," but Lamar just set the record straight on Twitter.

He revealed:

Won't continue 2 speak on this but I have got 2 let this out real quick. I have let this man and many others get away with a lot of shit. He wasn't there 2 raise me. He was absent ALL of my life due to his own demons. My mother and grandmother raised me. Queens raised me. For the first time since they left, came a blessing of a FAMILY that I married into. FAMILY. That man wasn't even invited to my wedding. He has never met my mother in law and some of my other family. How can a man who has NOT once called me to check on my well being have the nerve to talk so recklessly about his own "son". He is my downfall! His own demons may be the ONLY thing he gave 2 me. He disrespecting the ONLY FAMILY that has loved me without expecting anything in return. They are the ONLY ones that have been here consistently 4 me during this dark time. Only person 2 blame is myself. Say what you want about me but leave the ones who have done nothing but protect and love me out of this! This goes to out to everyone!

Then again, Joe said some really terrible things about Lamar's in-laws earlier today, so we're sure he felt the need to stick up for his wife and her family!

I can’t pinpoint right now who’s giving it him, but I’m going to investigate. The Kardashians haven’t been a good influence on my son.

They don’t give a f*ck about my son. It’s more about the damage they do to the Kardashian brand. They brought him down. He’d be better off without them. Let him go, get his life together. I wish he had never got married to Khloe to be honest. She’s controlling. Those Kardashian women all are. You get married they think they wear the pants. You just bring them your whole paycheck, that’s how it works… I saw her totally differently when I heard the way she talked privately. It isn’t pleasant. In public she’s nice, but if you see her personally you see the real person come out of her. The mother’s like that too. The whole family, they put up an act. He was approached by the producers to sign on to be on Love And Hip Hop Atlanta next season and he said YES.

ChrisBrown Calls Out Jay Z And Compares Himself To Trayvon Martin In Jet?

How'sthisfor controversial: Chris Brown apparently doesn't understand why he is vilified by the press, but Jay Z"gets a pass" for stabbing someone.

That is just one of multiple eyebrow-raising commentsthe 24-year-old R&B star made inthe cover story for the Oct. 14 issue of Jet magazine. When discussing his rocky relationship withthe press, Brown named-dropped Jay Z, who he sees as someone "accepted by White America."

"This is something I've been dealing with for the past maybefiveyears," he told Jet, per CNN. "Anybody with a voice – Tupac, Michael Jackson, the Notorious B.I.G. – gets formatted … except maybe for Jay Z, who is accepted by White America because heshakeshands and kisses babies. No disrespect, because I'm a fan, but nobody bringsup the fact that he stabbed somebody and sold drugs. He getsa pass."

In 2001, Jay Z pleaded guilty to stabbing record producer Lance "Un" Rivera at a 1999 listening party in Manhattan. Brownbelievesthe "Magna Carta" rapper got off easy for this, but he himself still can't move past the 2009 Rihanna assault.

"I got to thepoint where it'sonly so much you can take from the master, you feel me?" he told Jet. "I've taken my fair share of lashings. I'vedealt with the media. Instead of being an artist, I've been called a woman beater; I've been insulted in public and judged. And being able to not want to kill yourself at the end of the day iswhat mademesay, 'F**k it.'"

TheVirginia native even went so far as to compare himself to Trayvon Martin.

"I identify withTrayvon 100 percent as far asliving in 2013 and still dealing with blatant racism," he told the magazine. "Thisgeneration isso used to racism that it's normal; wedon't care. We aren't on drugs or catching AIDS, but they still look at us as ni**as."

KELIS PAYS $400,000 TOWARDS TAX TROUBLES

After falling into an enormous tax debt of nearly $800,000 over the course of six years, Harlem-born artist and Nas’s now ex-wife Kelis is a step closer to becoming debt-free. According to TMZ, the “Milshake” artist has paid approximately $400,000 towards her outstanding total of $741,027.59 in federal tax, and state taxes between New York and California.

The singer has already shelled out $391, 967.36 to cover her federal tax total, but that still doesn’t bring her all the way out of her pending state tax hole just yet. In fact, if Kelis delays on taking care of her balance, penalties will arise resulting in an increase in current amount.

This is not the first time we’ve heard of the artist’s money issues as we witnessed a public display of her 55,000 spousal and child support request from baby daddy Nas in 2009, prior to their divorce being finalized in 2010.

At any rate, best wishes to Kelis seeing we know how tax troubles and celebrities don’t always end to well.

September 30th ... #BruiserBrigade," and is supposed to show an OLD Danny Brown, but really it's got us thinking about the "Adderall Admiral."

Either way, the Detroit rapper got us all hyped on the release of Old with his recent video for the Paul-White produced "ODB" last week, too.

Billy Ray Cyrus says his daughter is evolving as an artist and entertainer. The country singer and actor tells CNN's "Piers Morgan Live"that Mileyputa lotof effort into creating a "special moment" at the MTV Video Music Awards, and the stirshe's caused is a testament to hertalent.

Billy Ray explains that Mileyis trying to move past her "HannahMontana"days, and she knows it's going to take "something extremelydrastic" to "come outof the shadows"of her former Disneyshow.

Miley Breaks Down At iHeartRadio Festival

Miley Cyrus can’t stop.

The pop singer was a crowd favorite at the iHeartRadio music festival day event Saturday in Las Vegas. Before she hit the stage, the crowd of a few hundred chanted: “Miley! Miley! Miley!”

The 20-year-old emerged onstage in all white, wearing a tight corset and high waisted shorts that revealed some of her backside.

Her four-song set opened with the anthemic “We Can’t Stop,” where people onstage were dressed in flower, mushroom and rainbow costumes. She gyrated and slapped a dwarf-sized dancer’s butt onstage. She followed the colorful performance with “Party In the USA.”

But it was her emotional rendition of “Wrecking Ball” that was her set’s highlight. Cyrus’ mascara was running as she left the stage after the song and the performance comes days after she announced she was no longer engaged to actor Liam Hemsworth. She thanked the audience for helping the song top the Billboard Hot 100 chart this week.

“I couldn’t have done it without all you guys,” she said.

Cyrus broke a record with the debut of the song’s provocative video, which features her in the nude. It became the fastest music video to reach 100 million views on VEVO.

The wild child singer said she knows “things I’m doing that’s getting me into trouble and it’s just me doing what my heart and soul is telling me what to do.”

Everything she’s done is “inspired by the music,” she said.

Cyrus, who will release her new album “Bangerz” next month, also sang a new song called “Look at What They’ve Done to My Song.” The guitar tune featured lyrics like “They think I’m half insane” and “I wish I could find a book to live in.”

Cyrus has been added as one of the main performers for the second night at iHeartRadio’s festival at the MGM Grand Arena, joining a list that includes Justin Timberlake, Bruno Mars, Paul McCartney and Drake. Elton John, Katy Perry and Chris Brown performed Friday.

Saturday’s day line-up also featured Jason Derulo, Avril Lavigne, The Wanted, The Band Perry and others.
