Drake Announces His Ex Keshia Chanté As New Host Of 106 & Park

In case you haven’t been tuning in to BET’s 106 & Park, over the past few months, while interim co-host Angela Simmons was out doing her thing, Keshia Chanté has been filling in as a host. The Toronto singer has made a lot of buzz on the Internet over the past few years after it was announced that she would be playing Aaliyah in a biopic (those rumors ended up being false) and she also posed for an Aaliyah-inspired shoot that was pretty dope last year.

A little known fact is that she’s also one of Drake’s ex-girlfriends from his Wheelchair Jimmy days. Earlier this week, it was a cute reunion between the two as he visited 106 & Park to promote his new album, and they talked about their history. If you let Keshia tell it, Drake was so pressed to get her attention when they first met that he registered for membership to her message board and posted that the two were in a relationship (LOL!).

During the show, Drake told her, “You were one of my crushes, I rapped about you before,” and he also said, “We look good together, we should have had some babies together.”

Oh, Drake! He definitely wants that old thang back. It was also super cute that she kept calling him “Aubrey” and blushing her way through the interview.

After the segment was over, Drake helped Keshia announce that she would be the new permanent host of BET’s 106 & Park with Bow Wow.
